THE PRODUCT

Over-ear headphones with a modern look: slim padded headband, smooth round earcups with no visible grilles, foldable, with swivelling earcups. A photo is attached — that is the shape and build quality we are after.

The one requirement that is not negotiable: the product must be wired only. No wireless connectivity, no internal battery, no active noise cancelling, no microphone, no charging port. Just a detachable audio cable.

The brand concept is entirely built around the cable, so a wireless product does not work for us at any price.

WHAT WE HAVE ALREADY TRIED — please read this part

We have already worked with an experienced sourcing agent in Shenzhen on this project, and he was not able to find it. This shape appears to exist almost exclusively as a wireless product.

We have also found several factories producing wired over-ear headphones, but they all make studio-style models: large earcups, exposed metal yokes, coiled cables. That is not the look we need.

So we are asking two separate questions. You may answer either one, or both:

Question one. Does a wired version of this shape exist as a ready-made product anywhere — online marketplaces, local markets, industry fairs?

Question two. If it does not exist: can you find a factory that already manufactures wired over-ear headphones and would be willing to produce this shell in a wired-only version? We want to understand what that would involve — whether it requires a mould modification, what that would cost, and what the minimum order would be.

PROJECT DETAILS

Our first order is one hundred and fifty units, in two or three colours. Black plus one or two others. The cable must match the headphone colour on each version. Our logo on the earcups, and each unit individually numbered.
