If someone fails to read the contract and still accepts the job position that should not be my fault. She did do the research and had 2 grants approved to start writing for. She told me she doesn't submit grants or follow up, she just writes the proposal. Clearly this is not what the contract stated. If you knew you weren't going to do what the job called for then don't take the job. She wrote 1 grant proposal and submitted the same proposal for 2 grants. I simply asked her was this a mistake or did you intentionally submit the same proposal for both grants because both proposals had the same questions and answers on them. She did not respond to me at all. So, after a whole week went by and still no response, I ended the contract and asked for a refund. She accepted the request for a refund and requested I give 1.00 to end the contract. I paid what was asked of me and now she is upset because she says she made a mistake on her end and meant to put a different amount. I personally don't feel I owe her anything at this point. She did not do what was asked on the contract and didn't respond when I asked her about her work. I also requested in the system for a revision, and she never responded to that request either.
