Overview
We are a busy photography studio based in Ireland, specialising in fun, documentary wedding photography for discerning couples. We shoot approximately 40 weddings per year. We are seeking to outsource our social media content creation and associated activities to a suitably qualified freelancer to help our business grow and improve our conversion rate of ideal clients. The freelancer will have excellent knowledge of social media, in particular Instagram, strong video editing skills, good visual aesthetics and excellent written english skills. Ideally, this will be a long term appointment, providing consistent output for the studio and rewarding and regular work for the freelancer for years to come. We are looking to appoint a freelancer by mid December 2024. Background Our studio has been in operations since 2011 and we are currently have one lead photographer, one associate photographer and a full time editor. We are looking to expand by outsourcing two key areas: 1. Social Media Content 2. Paid Social Media Ads. Scope of Works 1. Social Media: A. Create instagram posts, reels, and stories based on the agreed strategy document provided by the studio. The studio will provide images, BTS videos, info on tagging, graphics and a strategy document. The freelancer will be responsible for for the production of the following in the approximate weekly quantity for each of the above will be: Reels: 3 Carosels: 3 Single images: 4 Stories: Sharing all the above to stories. B. Schedule all post for review and comment by studio in Planoly or other agreed software followed by posting at agreed times. C. Compiling a brief monthly report of the performance of posts and overall account performance and making suggestions of on-going changes for future strategy. D. Attending monthly zoom meeting with the studio to discuss the above. 2. Image Sharing A. Issuing of vendor image galleries to wedding vendors (venues, make-up artists etc). Gallery links, vendor list and standard message format will be provided by Studio. This would be emails or instagram DMs, with approx 5 contacts per wedding across 40 weddings per annum. B. Managing of submissions of images to be featured on wedding blogs such as onefabday.com, style me pretty etc. This would be estimated at 10 - 15 weddings per year. Timeline: Appointment due mid December 2024 on an on-going basis. Payment: Payment will be on an agreed monthly rate, paid in arrears. Exclusions: The following are excluded from the scope, as they are undertaken by the studio or others: 1. Production of photography and/or videos. 2. Paid social media ads. Appointment Process: Applications should be made via Upwork detailing the following: 1. Name of Freelancer 2. Relevant experience including companies worked for and role undertaken. 3. You would be tasked with refining existing, expansive content we have about symptoms of this disease into a clear list to be featured on the carousel post alongside short descriptions. After creating the list and finalizing the copy for the symptom descriptions, you would input this into our template, finetune the template as needed (small sizing changes based on the copy length…etc.), export it, and post it to Instagram. Captions for social media Create short, engaging captions with a strong eye for perfect grammar and spelling (or have a willingness to commit to a grammar or spell-checking tool like ChatGPT or Grammarly).
