Job Title: Social Media Video Editor for Skincare Brand
Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative social media video editor to transform raw footage and images into engaging stories and reels for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube shorts. This position offers the opportunity for ongoing work, with a minimum requirement of three posts per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit and produce high-quality video content from provided raw footage and images. Mostly UGC and talking to camera content .
• Create captivating stories and reels tailored to each platform's format and audience.
• Save and prepare finalized content for easy posting.
Expectations:
• Deliver a minimum of three posts per week in each format.
• Maintain the brand's style and tone in all edited content.
• Adhere to platform-specific guidelines for New Zealand.
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in popular editing tools and apps that will provide an advantage of reach, Edits and CapCut etc
• Strong understanding of social media trends and editing features that enhance reach and engagement.
• Experience with brand-focused content creation, especially in the beauty or skincare sector.
Communication:
• Excellent communication skills are essential for collaboration.
• Ability to provide regular updates on progress and be open to feedback.
• Willingness to discuss ideas and strategies to maximize brand and founder awareness.

She was disrespectful at times, didn't respect my wishes, wasn't willing to compromise and was a headache during the entire process. I would NEVER work with her again. The word product was not also what I anticipated based on the samples I was provided. If you're looking for working with someone who is good and easy to work with and will listen to your needs without being disrespectful, I'd suggest choosing another person. Also, ask very detailed questions in the beginning about work count, length of pages to get clarity before creating the contract. This contract was well over spent for a subpar outcome.
