No animation, graphics, or motion templates needed. This is a conversational, storytelling-driven show think sitting with a friend who’s telling you a great story and cracking jokes along the way. Pacing and timing are everything.
What I need: • Protect the natural rhythm of the story. I’m not looking for someone who mechanically removes every silence or pause. • Clean, natural-feeling edits not choppy jump cuts or edits that interrupt the buildup of a story or joke. • Strong editorial judgment when working with multiple takes. If I restart a section or give a few different versions of a line, you should be comfortable choosing and assembling the strongest performance. • Know the difference between dead air and a pause that’s doing something a setup before a punchline, a reaction beat, a breath before the story turns, etc. • Use close-ups, wider framing, punch-ins, and other subtle shot variation intentionally to maintain visual interest without making the edit feel random or overdone. • Understand comedy and storytelling. You should know when to cut, when to punch in, when to hold on a reaction, and when leaving something alone makes the joke work better. • Cultural fluency matters. You should be comfortable with AAVE, sarcasm, internet-native humor, and conversational storytelling. I need an editor who can understand the joke/voice well enough to edit around it properly. • Create a short opening teaser/cold open using strong moments from later in the episode. The purpose is to hook the viewer and make them want to continue watching not simply compile random funny clips. • Reliable turnaround: the first 2 episodes must be completed by September 16. Scope: • 2 episodes to start (~30–40 minutes raw footage each; target final runtime ~17–25 minutes) • Main episode edit + opening teaser/cold open • No shorts, intro/outro creation, animation, or motion graphics required • I will provide a previously edited episode as a reference for the pacing/style I’m looking for • Flat rate: $40 per episode / $80 total • Ongoing work is possible if we’re a strong fit, with potential for a recurring monthly arrangement as the show continues To apply: • Send a reel or 2–3 examples of your most relevant work. Talking-head comedy, storytelling, personality-driven entertainment, or similar work is preferred. • Tell me your typical turnaround time per episode and confirm you can deliver both first episodes by September 16. • Confirm that you're comfortable with the $40/episode fixed rate.

Title: Podcast Video Editor — Riverside.fm Pro (Weekly Hour-Long Multi-Cam Episodes)
About the work We record a weekly podcast in Riverside.fm with an average of 3 participants joining remotely from 3 different locations. Episodes run about an hour. I've been doing the editing myself, and we've grown past the point where that makes sense — so I'm looking for a dedicated editor to take it over. What you'll be doing Pulling multi-track Riverside recordings and syncing separate video/audio tracks Cutting a full hour-long episode into a clean, professional final video Multi-cam switching between speakers so the edit feels natural, not static Audio cleanup: leveling, noise removal, removing filler, dead air, crosstalk, and mistakes Adding intro/outro, lower thirds, and basic graphics from our templates Delivering final files ready for [YouTube / distribution platforms] [Optional: 3–5 short vertical clips per episode for social] What we need from you Real Riverside.fm experience — you know how separate recording tracks work, how to handle sync issues, and what to do when a track drops Proven podcast editing work, not just general video editing Fast, reliable turnaround. We need episodes back in [X business days] and we publish on a set schedule Strong audio skills. On a remote 3-person podcast, audio is what makes it sound professional Clear communication and the ability to work with minimal hand-holding after the first couple of episodes How to apply Start your response with "I can handle" so I know you read the full post Send links to 2–3 podcast episodes you personally edited — ideally multi-person remote recordings Tell me what software you edit in and roughly how long an hour-long episode takes you Include your rate per episode Details Volume: [1-2 episodes per week to start] Ongoing, long-term work for the right person Budget: [$X per episode] — open to discussion based on experience

We're a luxury sleep wellness brand based in Carlsbad, California, publishing a weekly podcast. Each episode is recorded on Riverside with three camera angles and runs thirty to forty minutes. We need a reliable freelancer for ongoing weekly work, not a one-off project.
Scope of work, three parts. First, edit the three angles into one polished episode ready to publish, includes multi-cam switching, audio cleanup, color correction, and intro-outro if we provide a template. Second, from that same episode, cut four to five short vertical clips optimized for social, strong hooks in the first three seconds, captions burned in, sized for Reels, Tik Tok, and Shorts. Third, take the episode transcript and turn it into repurposed written content, think blog posts, LinkedIn posts, or show notes. Requirements: proven experience editing multi-cam podcast content, strong short-form social editing portfolio, comfortable working from transcripts for written repurposing, fast turnaround, we need each episode's assets within five business days of recording, and reliable weekly availability. To apply: please share examples of long-form to short-form repurposing you've done, not just raw editing reels.

We’re looking for someone who could own most of our podcast workflow for a new and growing podcast in the Spa/Wellness B2B space, including:
• Host and guest scheduling/coordination • Full-service video and audio editing • Guest technical support for remote recordings • Episode scheduling, publishing and distribution across platforms, with attention to titles, timing, metadata and discoverability • SEO-optimized show notes • Social clips for each episode • Analytics/reporting with key takeaways around audience growth, engagement and episode performance For social specifically, I’d love to understand how you approach identifying the strongest moments from an episode, how many clips you typically recommend/create, and the level of creative treatment that goes into them. One of our biggest priorities is growing Spa Insider beyond simply producing and distributing episodes. We want to build a meaningful audience and a strong media brand around the show. I’d love to hear how you approach audience development and whether you have examples of shows where you’ve helped meaningfully grow listenership, video views or social engagement, along with any metrics you’re able to share. If this sounds aligned with the kind of work you do, I’d love to learn more about how you’d structure the engagement and what you think would make sense from a scope and budget standpoint.

I run a business podcast (Modern Business Life) and need a reliable editor to handle post-production using Riverside. This is recurring, ongoing work — I record 3 to 10 episodes per week and need each one turned around quickly.
Riverside handles most of the heavy lifting, so this is light-touch editing with a good eye for quality, not a from-scratch edit. Most episodes take about 15 minutes of focused work once you know the workflow. What you'll do, per episode: - Access the episode in Riverside - Download the full episode recording - Add an intro bed (music/audio I'll provide) to the front of the episode - Export the final full episode file - Create a new folder in our shared Google Drive named for that episode, and upload the final full episode file there Use Riverside's Magic Clips and Made from Clips to generate a YouTube thumbnail for the episode, and add it to that same episode folder Create 2–4 short clips (ideally 3) of the guest speaking, each 30–60 seconds, suitable for social — using Riverside's clip tools — and add them to that same episode folder Folder structure: Each episode gets its own folder inside our shared Drive (e.g., named by guest and date). All assets for that episode — full file, thumbnail, and clips — go inside it. No mixing assets across folders. What I'm looking for: Experience with Riverside.fm (or willingness to learn it quickly — it's intuitive) Good judgment on clip selection — you should be able to spot the guest's strongest, most quotable moments Fast turnaround and consistency, since volume will be 3–10 episodes/week Comfortable with Google Drive for asset delivery and organization Someone who can work independently once onboarded — I'll provide the intro bed and a short walkthrough to start Pay structure: Paid per episode (not hourly). Please quote your per-episode rate in your application. To apply, please include: - Your per-episode rate - Any relevant podcast/video editing experience (Riverside experience a plus) - Your typical turnaround time per episode - Availability for 3–10 episodes/week on an ongoing basis A sample edit: If you have Riverside access, I'll provide a short raw episode for you to turn around as a paid trial (full file + thumbnail + 2-3 clips) before we commit to ongoing work. If you don't have a sample of similar work already, mention that and we'll arrange this.

We publish a defence-industry podcast recorded in Riverside.fm. Riverside handles most of the basic editing automatically: cutting dead time, generating a rough cut, transcription, and show notes with timestamps. We need someone to take that output and finish it into a polished, publishable episode, roughly 2 to 3 episodes per month.
What you'll do Take the Riverside-generated rough cut and refine it into a finished episode, video and audio Add a consistent intro and outro to each episode Create short clips (using Riverside's Magic Clips feature or manually) suitable for social media, sized appropriately for platforms like LinkedIn or YouTube Shorts Review Riverside's auto-generated show notes and timestamps, cleaning them up as needed Deliver files ready for publishing, with a reasonable turnaround time per episode What we're looking for Direct experience with Riverside.fm specifically, including its Magic Clips and auto-editing features A portfolio or sample reel showing finished episodes, ideally intros, outros, and social clips Able to add basic intro and outro segments to a video Fast, reliable turnaround

Podcast Growth Freelancer — Goal: 10K Monthly Downloads
I’m looking for an experienced podcast growth freelancer to help grow Inside the Children’s Hospital to 10,000 podcast downloads per month. This is an established pediatric healthcare podcast with a large library of episodes featuring parent stories, healthcare professionals, and conversations about navigating children’s healthcare. The Goal Grow the podcast to 10,000 downloads per month through sustainable, organic audience growth. I am specifically looking for someone who has experience growing podcast downloads/listeners, not simply producing podcasts or managing social media. What I Need I want you to develop and execute a growth strategy that may include: * Podcast SEO and discoverability * Apple Podcasts and Spotify optimization * YouTube-to-podcast conversion * Strategic episode distribution * Leveraging our existing episode library for growth * Cross-promotion and podcast collaborations * Newsletter/community distribution * Guest audience activation * Identifying high-potential episodes and topics * Testing new audience acquisition strategies * Tracking downloads and determining which activities are actually driving growth I already create content and have an established brand, network, guests, website, social presence, and episode library. I need someone focused on turning those existing assets into more listeners. Success Metric The primary KPI for this role is simple: Monthly podcast downloads → 10,000/month I want someone who will establish our current baseline, create a realistic growth plan, track progress monthly, and continually adjust based on what’s actually working. Who I’m Looking For You should have demonstrable podcast audience-growth experience. When applying, please tell me: * What podcasts you’ve helped grow * Their starting and ending download numbers * What specifically you did to create that growth * How you would approach getting this podcast to 10K monthly downloads * What timeline you believe is realistic * What metrics you would track * Your monthly rate Please do not send a generic digital marketing proposal. I’m specifically looking for someone who understands podcast audience acquisition and can show evidence that they’ve grown podcast downloads before.

Fairly simple job for anyone with significant experience in audio editing.
I have one sound track recorded on zoom for a podcast episode and I need both voices normalized/balanced. One is coming in quieter than the other. I may likely have more episodes that need work, so there could be more than this one job. If it goes really well, I may have you edit all my episodes. To be clear I have been editing in Audacity, and this is more than just simply normalizing and/or compressing. I can do that on my own, it needs a bit more finessing to make sure both voices are normalized. Once you send me the job back I will finish editing the episode in Audacity to my liking (parts, not sound editing). And that's it! Please double check your work to make sure that both voices are heard clearly and have balanced sound levels for the entire track. Send the track back as an mp3. Must be fluent in English. Thank you.

¡Hola!

I run a podcast in the men's self-improvement space and I'm hiring an editor to turn my raw recordings into clean, polished episodes. One episode per week, ongoing. Raw recordings run roughly 40 minutes to 1.5 hours.
The main editing work is cutting out all dead space and silences, removing stutters and false starts, and cutting any sections where we say on-recording that we want them removed (like "cut that part out"). You'll need to actually listen for these, not just run an auto-cut. Each episode also needs a cold open intro in the style of Jack Neel's podcasts — a highlight clip of the guest saying something compelling, with editing layered over it (cuts, music, pacing) to hook the viewer. Keep it tight, 10 to 12 seconds max. I'm also happy to record a voiceover for the intro. If you think a VO would make it stronger, just write out what you want me to say and I'll record it and send it over. Use whatever software you want, I only care about the final result. What matters is experience with podcasts or long-form content and a good ear for conversation flow so the episode feels natural after cuts, not choppy. I've attached a sample clip of something I want edited. If you edit it and include it with your proposal, I'm much more likely to work with you. To apply, send links to podcasts or videos you've edited your turnaround time for a recording this length, and how much you want per episode. Intro should be something like it is in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsOZ4jcKu_w&t=1212s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BUE3_Vetsc&t=1483s For these ^ I typically have my current editor send me a script and then I send the audio to him. My only issue is at the moment he cant handle the volume im wanting to I want someone else on my team who can basically do the exact same everything Sample Podcast: https://riverside.com/editor/41997ea6-6a0e-4519-aa5e-97674732c4f4/6a9f2681cdcaee43d05922d2/preview?review-token=727b723651c4ef7312f0
