We are building Makasi Swap, a smart energy distribution network using plug-and-play EV charging sockets with 4G SIM cards for electric motorcycle charging in Tanzania.
We need a full-stack development team or experienced individual to build:
A mobile app for users (BodaBoda riders)
An app for local merchants (Wakala)
A backend system to manage IoT devices and energy data
A payment integration system (with mobile money like M-Pesa)
A commission and usage tracking dashboard
The system must allow real-time control and tracking of the smart sockets, trigger socket activation only after mobile payment, and automatically split commissions between us and the local merchants.

After a number of follow-ups and promises she finally delivered a subpar render that was not in accordance to the provided blueprints. We gave her numerous chances and she kept promising that she will deliver and the renders provided are just samples. After buying some more time from our clients, she again miss her deadlines and health files hostage demanding release of milestones without delivering the work. Being pressed for time We ended up providing payment to receive at least some of the files but again the files lacked quality design skills and more delays.
In some of our calls hair inbox was blowing up with messages from various clients demanding their work which clearly could not adhere to. It is clear that this contractor promises the world gets people hooked and demands payment without delivering results.
We ended up going back to our original designers and got the entire project done within 30 hours as opposed to 2 and 1/2 weeks.

The site has two key functional requirements:

When a front-end lead just 'ghosts' a project, it affects the whole team and costs a lot of unnecessary delays which adds to the expenses.
It pains me to say anything negative as Mohamed has worked on this project for a year and a half. I even provided increases to his compensation over time to accommodate his performance and to recognize his valued contributions, yet for the past few months, he would go through periods of just disappearing and not providing a status update of his availability.
I'd likely only hire Mohamed again if he could prove his ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate that he's serious about the project and not just 'disappear on a whim' for extended periods.

Uzair is a great person with a deep knowledge of a wide variety of programmatic languages, concepts, ideas, and constructs. Our challenge was in mutual availability and schedules of which, I, as the client, contributed negatively to as well. I'd probably give myself a 3-star as Uzair tried to work around my crazy schedule.
For fast projects, fixes, new websites, API integrations...use Uzair. For long-term projects that require 40 hours of focus a week, at this time, Uzair may not be the right choice.
