We’re launching Block Events, an event-based mobile/web app, and we’re looking for detail-oriented testers to help us test functionality, user flows, and overall experience before launch.
This role is short-term, paid, and ideal for QA testers, product testers, or users experienced with event, booking, or social apps.
Scope of Work
Testers will be responsible for reviewing the app in two phases:
Phase 1: Independent Testing (Async)
Test the app on your own device and document feedback, including:
Account creation & login
Navigation and user flow
Event browsing & registration
Buttons, links, and form submissions
Load times and performance
Bugs, glitches, or broken features
User experience issues or confusing steps
You will submit:
A written feedback report
Screenshots or screen recordings of issues (where applicable)
Phase 2: Live Feedback Call (Video)
After independent testing, selected testers will join a short video call (20–30 minutes) to:
Walk through findings
Demonstrate bugs live (if needed)
Share usability and improvement suggestions
Answer follow-up questions from the product team

I have a set up a mirror site to my substack with paid subscribers, using a self-hosted site. It is using the Ghost 6.0 program that is similar to substack. I received help setting it up, but it has gone down almost instantly and now I need help getting it back up. The person who built it has said that it is to do with memory shortage on droplet but I have troubleshot with Digital Ocean, where the site is hosted, and they said it was a problem with the IP being a different host. I changed the IP to the one I use at DigiOcean for my other sites but now I get this message:

If you can get past that, it's an easy job. Client had several people communicating with me and I was never quite sure who I was responsiveble to, also they sometimes took a while to respond.

I'm developing a Slack-based concierge service specifically for foreigners living in Japan.
The service helps with everyday challenges such as:
-Understanding garbage sorting and bulky waste rules
-Booking hospitals or clinics
-Making restaurant reservations (including allergy explanations)
-Any issues finding a right educational institution
-General cultural and daily life guidance
All support is done via private Slack chat in English (or Japanese if preferred), with responses and optional proxy tasks (e.g., making calls or bookings on your behalf). Right now, I'm looking for 5 beta testers who are currently living in Japan to try the service completely free for just 3 days and share honest feedback.
What you'll do is to
-Join a private Slack channel (invitation sent after selection)
-Send 2–5 real questions you actually have about life in Japan (e.g., "How do I sort this trash?" or "What does this letter mean?")
-Try 1 free proxy task (e.g., a restaurant or hospital booking made on your behalf)

I’m looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to document the full customer sign-up and onboarding journey for three membership-based platforms:

HomeExchange
ThirdHome
The goal is to clearly understand the end-to-end experience from a new user’s perspective.
Scope of Work
For each platform, you will:
Create a new user account and complete the full sign-up process
Capture screenshots at every step of the journey, including:
Landing pages
Account creation
Plan selection and pricing
Profile setup
Verification steps (if any)
Confirmation screens
Document all post-sign-up communications, including:
Onboarding emails
SMS messages (if applicable)
Welcome or activation prompts
Organise everything into one presentation deck per platform, clearly showing:
Step-by-step flow
Screenshots in order
Short captions explaining what the user is doing or seeing
Deliverables
3 separate presentation decks (one per website)
Decks are to be supplied in Canva
Clear, logical structure suitable for internal review in the relevant order of the process
