The Role
As a Social Media Manager at Impact3, you’ll be the creative engine behind some of the most ambitious brands in crypto. Your job is to create, publish, and engage daily, ensuring our clients’ content thrives on X (Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok, and beyond.
Note: This is not a client-facing role. Your focus is on execution, creativity, and cultural relevance. You are the voice of the brand, working closely with our internal team of designers, video editors, and account managers.

🎯Community Engagement: Reply, quote-tweet, and spark conversations to energize the community.
🎯Collaboration: Partner with designers and video editors to bring visual ideas to life.
🎯Performance Tracking: Monitor analytics, share insights, and test new formats to optimize growth.

Although she had no prior Upwork work history, I decided to give her a chance because her initial communication appeared thoughtful and her proposal aligned well with the lightweight, 4-week, $500 marketing sprint I clearly outlined from the beginning.
Before hiring, I specified the following:
– A fixed total budget of $500
– A lightweight plan with no additional tools or costs
– Clear deliverables (3 posts per week, 150 outreach actions per week, weekly reporting)
– A 4-week duration
– A simple, practical execution strategy
She confirmed multiple times that she could deliver this within the agreed framework and that no extra expenses or tools (CRM, software, premium subscriptions, etc.) would be required. Based on that, I funded the first milestone.
After the first milestone was delivered and paid, serious misalignment began to appear.
First, she attempted to upsell a CRM system that would have added monthly costs and required a far larger operational setup, completely outside the “lightweight” scope she accepted upfront. When I declined and asked her to focus on the approved plan, she then informed me that LinkedIn Premium was required to execute the outreach volume she had originally confirmed was possible on the free tier. This was never mentioned during our initial discussions, nor in her written strategy, nor in any earlier communication.
This directly contradicted what she had assured me: that the work could be completed fully within my fixed budget using the free version of LinkedIn. Only after I had funded the project did the requirements suddenly change.
When I raised fair questions and restated the agreed scope (as any project owner would), the communication quickly became strained. Her responses framed my attempts to clarify deliverables and costs (which were mutually agreed upon), as “pressure” or “scope creep,” even though I was asking her to adhere to the exact strategy she wrote and I had paid for.
Rather than problem-solving or collaborating to adjust the plan, she chose to end the contract and return the unused milestone, which I appreciate, but which also confirmed my concerns about reliability, expectations management, and ability to work within a fixed scope.
To be clear:
– The budget and deliverables were explicitly stated from the start.
– She accepted them in writing.
– After payment, expectations suddenly changed.
– She proposed tools and processes that contradicted the original agreement.
– Attempts to clarify and realign were met with defensiveness rather than collaboration.
While the initial strategy document was well-presented, the project ultimately lacked follow-through, alignment, and professional consistency. The experience made it difficult for me to trust her execution on a fixed-cost project.
I would not recommend her services to clients who need clear scope adherence, predictable cost control, or reliable execution within agreed-upon parameters.
I genuinely hope she finds clients whose needs and budgets better fit her working style, but based on this experience, I cannot endorse her for fixed-price marketing engagements.

I have worked with Abid on a small project earlier as well which was also a nightmare in first attempt, you can look at my reviews on his profile(two reviews) but I thought to TRY AGAIN with him as he was following up in between and asking for work.
I have shared my requirement with him and I told him 4 weeks of timeline if he can achieve it or not and he said if he will work extra time then he will be able to finish it. The project is awarded and I asked for project plan which he has submitted and he has defined days by himself. When it was time to complete first milestone he came to ask for time extension of a day and it was provided and then another time extension in same milestone, so, I expressed my concern about timeline and he said that he will make up in next milestone. He took two milestone time to deliver one milestone and I get a sense that this project is going to delay so I have again expressed my concern about timeline and this time he started giving excuses like I told you it will take 4-6 weeks and you pushed me to complete in 4 weeks and so on. He also blamed me for not giving him option to say NO to the project.
After long argument and wasting few hours, it was decided again that if he can able to complete the project within original timeline then I will pay him in full and he agreed as I needed my project completed. He didn't share any progress update in between or anything and on the last day he again showed up and asked for timeline extension. I asked for the update and he started giving excuses again(based on his explanation, it seems that he has not even completed 30% work). Finally it was decided that if he can deliver on the original date we agreed then only the project will be completed which was only 24 hours after this conversation and he agreed again.
Finally he was unable to deliver the project after wasting my 4 weeks and countless hours in conversation and discussing his time extension.
I got all proof of chat about the claim I am making so if anyone wants to see before hiring him, I would be happy to share my experience with them.
I AM NOT RECOMMENDING ABID AS A DEVELOPER TO ANYONE. HE IS TIME WASTER, GOT NO SKILL AND HE DOESN'T RESPECT PROJECT TIMELINE. HE DOESN’T DELIVER ON TIME .
