He initially agrees on certain things but later denies them. He also refused to give me access to his own client, even though I fully cooperated and even joined a call with the client to guide them — something that was completely out of scope. Still, I wanted to complete the project properly. Later, he gave me incorrect hosting login details. I informed him that the website was not hosted on Bluehost. I even contacted the hosting provider on behalf of the client and confirmed that the website was actually hosted on Google Hosting. I communicated this to the client, and Matthew himself confirmed this by speaking with Bluehost, who told him the same thing. After that, the client started blaming me, saying I should have known where the website was hosted — even though that wasn’t my responsibility in the first place. Now that the project is completed, he has ended the contract. He has done similar things with previous freelancers too.
