Omer prioritised other clients over our project, repeatedly claiming he’d "get to it later" while bombarding us with excuse after excuse. What was supposed to take 1 week to 10 days dragged on for a staggering 4 months. Every time we asked for updates, he gave the same tired line: "I’m working on it," followed by more excuses. Then laughs when were eager for a update. After 4 months of waiting, we decided to terminate the contract and cancel the order. Suddenly, Omer miraculously began working—despite claiming just hours earlier that he was ill and accusing us of rushing him, then laughs at the situation. This was a recurring pattern: excuses upon excuses, week after week even though he was taking other contract. Finally, after four months, he presented some work—then demanded full payment and refused to release files until he was paid in full. Wow What made the situation worse was our trust at the beginning. We funded multiple milestones to show Omer we were serious about ongoing work. Despite this, after enduring the disaster of the first project, we made it clear we did not want to work with him again. However, after being paid for the first project, Omer started accepted milestones we had funded in advance—then tried to take the money instantly without delivering any new work. He even resubmitted the same work we had already paid for, claiming it was for a new milestone right seconds after accepting the order. Unbelievable. Which made us contact upwork and make disputes for our money, then suddenly starts texting you like he has delivered work as he promised. This experience was beyond frustrating and caused big issues. Omer is greedy, dishonest, and completely unprofessional. He takes on multiple clients, strings them along with false promises, and only starts working when he feels like it, He seems to care more about squeezing money out of clients than delivering quality work. I wouldn’t be surprised if he outsources the projects entirely. Complete scam If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not work with Omer. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a freelancer.
