One important requirement (please read):
This template gets populated programmatically from our data — so it must be built "production-style": every dynamic text frame gets a Script Label, everything uses named paragraph/character/object styles (no local overrides on dynamic content), and repeating elements are built as a single styled unit we can clone. We handle all the scripting/automation in-house — you focus purely on design, but you must be comfortable building to this labeling spec (we'll give you a detailed one). You'll design against sample/placeholder data (no sensitive client data involved).

How we'll start: a small paid test.
Before the full template, we'll commission one page (the cover + a "by the numbers" page) built to the spec. It's a quick, paid trial of both your design and the structured-build approach. If it lands, we commission the full template.

Must-haves

Portfolio with real multi-page annual / impact / investor reports in InDesign (please link the actual PDFs — not logos or social graphics)
Strong typography + editorial grid sense
Comfortable building a script-friendly, labeled template with named styles
Delivers .indd + .idml + fonts + a list of labels/styles used
Nice-to-have: data-viz / infographic chops; experience with templates that get data-merged or auto-populated.
