# Get started

> Invite your Business Manager to your Upwork agency and get approved for Auto-Bidding.

Auto-Bidding submits proposals through a Business Manager that joins your Upwork agency. Invite that manager, send the request, and wait for approval. Only the team owner and admins can do this.

## Your business manager

Vollna assigns a Business Manager to your account once your subscription is active. The manager submits proposals on behalf of your agency, using the freelancer profile from your proposal template. Clients see that freelancer profile, never the manager.

## Invite the business manager to your agency

  <Step title="Switch to your Upwork agency account">
    On Upwork, click your profile picture in the top right corner and select your agency.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open the members list">
    Go to **Account Settings** > **Teams & Members** > **Members** and click **Invite Members**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste the manager email">
    Copy the Business Manager email shown in Vollna and paste it into the invite dialog.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select the roles">
    Tick **Agency manager**. Auto-Bidding needs this role.

    Tick **Account admin** only to let [Auto Top-Up Connects](/docs/auto-bidding/auto-top-up-connects) buy Connects for you. You can add it later.

  <Step title="Send the invite">
    Click **Send Invite**.

Back in Vollna, tick the confirmation box and click **Continue**.

## Wait for approval

Approval usually takes up to 12 hours. The answer comes by email.

A rejection shows the reviewer's reason. Fix what it names, then click **Start Over** to send a new request.

Setups that were already active stop while a request is open. Re-enable them after approval.
